I would like to join so I can add my family members. The profit Joseph Smith is a very distant relative. He is my first cousin six times removed. His fathers father is my sixth Great Grandfather.
Welcome to the project Eileen!
I am very interested in joining this project. Already added the TAG to my profile just waiting for further steps in joining.
Hi Erin, I awarded you the badge so welcome to the project! Usually new project members start by working on their own LDS ancestors, but if you would like to do someone different we just started a project challenge yesterday: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/463410/lds-project-challenge-sep-2017-presidents-of-the-church

I have several Mormon Pioneers on BOTH sides of my family and some very well known ones at that.  I would like to join this project and see if I can sort through some of them as well as categorize their profiles.  Thanks!

That's awesome Dayle! I've given you the badge.  We should talk about a potential LDS Hawaii sub-project, if you're interested.

Yes. My father's family members were Mormon pioneers, with many stories!  All immigrated from England, if you go back far enough. Some crossed in covered wagons to Utah. Others used handcarts. Several were orphaned by the time they arrived. Some were burnt out of Nauvoo.

I am interested in joining the project and have an interest in Mormon history. I was raised in the Church and my ancestors were early members of the Church. I have many Mormon pioneers in my family tree. You might say that there is no area of Mormon history that did not include one of my family members. I would love to take part in the project. Please feel free to look through the Sanders side of my family tree for more details (my Mom's paternal line).

Hello, I would like to join this project I have several Family members who were pioneers and LDS members. The husband of my 2nd cousin 3x removed was Randolph Hockaday Stewart who if my information is correct was a Bishop of the Moab ward, San Juan Stake from 1881-1893. And is the person that Randolph Utah is named after. So please add me to this project.

Please assign me the LDS Project Member badge. I'm a Daughter of Utah Pioneers, and distant cousins with nearly every president of the church, including Brother Joseph. :)
answered by Sarah Smith G2G1 (1.8k points)
Hi Sarah, welcome to the project!
I saw that you had Stewart as one of your tags and we are 4th cousins once removed!
How fun!! Your 3rd great grandmother was my 2nd great grandfather's half sister! When I run into other Stewarts at the cemetery, the question is always "which wife do you come from?" Fun story: I have Benjamin Franklin Stewart's nose. Dang it. Lol.

It was suggested on my profile to add this project. I have had the tag for a while now, but I guess I can join the project as well. :)
