Thanks.  We're looking for Private John Jordan.  He would've been buried in Knox or Blount County in Tennessee.

Found nothing conclusive however found a family tree on ancestry that would say

John Jordan, Sr. was born on April 10, 1757, in Germany. He married Catherine Scherer around 1774. They had one child during their marriage. He died on December 24, 1835, in Blount, Tennessee, having lived a long life of 78 years.

Often times ancestry tree stuff lacks source but is a good reference point.

Thanks.  I appreciate your assistance
I did find a Private John R Jordan on Find A Grave however I don't believe it likely he lived to be 106

This could possibly be the record for his son. I don't know though
