I've found those references before, but what concerns me is that they're not based on any primary documentation that I've been able to find. I believe Douglas Richardson has even removed her son John Henry as a Gateway ancestor because of the doubt that now exists about her ancestry. But even if we take those sources as fact for now, they don't support the current attachment to the father that's listed in WikiTree (John Robertson) and that William identified as her brother in the wikitree profile is not the Rev. William Robertson, father of the famous historian.
I'm currently trying my hardest to find out her correct lineage (I'm a direct descendant) but for now I think we should either a) connect her to the family those possibly faulty secondary sources say (daughter of William Robertson of Gladney and his wife Margaret Mitchell) or b) disconnect her completely. I've found no secondary sources yet to support her father as this John Robertson (though based on her son's name, it's possible her father was a John Robertson).
