Misnamed category profiles not being removed from Uncategorized list?

Hi,

I've started working through the Uncategorized list, and I've noticed that when a category has been labelled misnamed, it doesn't get removed from the list. Which makes the list slow to sort through. Is it possible to have them removed from the list somehow?

Good observation!

According to the text at Category: Misnamed Categories, when the template {{Misnamed Categories}} is used, the category is placed in the Misnamed Categories category. But that's not happening, so the Uncategorized list has become overwhelmed with Misnamed Categories that are supposed to be in the Misnamed category, but aren't.

An edit to the template {{Misnamed Categories}} would fix this by making the template work as advertised.

To get the attention of a leader who could fix this, please add the tags templates and leaders to the question, and recategorize the question in WikiTree Tech.
