Ironside- George, married to Margaret Henderson. Who is George Ironside's Parents?

I have no birtdates. George and Margaret had 3 children- James Ironside (1781), Thomas Ironside (1783-1856), Isobel Ironside (1786-1873)

Hi Chris, The kids were born in Monquhitter, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. I have no other info on the parents, birthdates, marriage date, or death dates.

I don't know but I would like to: I have less information on this family than you do (I didn't know the mother was a Margaret and I didn't have the children's death dates). If you can share the data I would be interested!

Have you tried scotlandspeople.gov.uk?

It is a site where you need to buy credits, but you can now search it for free.

I have Ironsides in that area and am planning to do some work on them next week. If I come across any of those you mention I will get back to you.
