Second middle name initials not showing

Lets say I have a Joan Ann Smith - she shows in the tree as Joan A. Smith.

If I have a Joan Ann Barbara Smith - she should show like Joan A. B. Smith - but she shows as Joan A. Smith.

Am I doing something wrong that it's not showing properly?

If you want JOAN ANN BARBARA SMITH written as such on the top of her profile, you need to write " Joan Ann Barbara " in full as her preferred name and her proper  first name. In last name field " Smith " .it will show up in the Family Tree too.

I guess, but I'm talking more about the auto initials that the system does. Why does it ignore a 2nd middle name?
Hi Kirsty,

It's just a limitation. The system isn't smart enough to use multiple middle initials. It's just taking the first letter of the middle name field, putting in a period, and stripping out the rest.
