What about FTDNA Y-DNA?
by Ray Jones G2G6 Pilot (154k points)
I recommend uploading FTDNA Y-DNA to YSearch using the upload  button near the bottom of your FTDNA Y-DNA results page.  Y-DNA haplotypes from other companies should be added to YSearch at

GEDmatch is for autosomal DNA and X chromosome

Sincerely, Peter
Thanks Peter!  I have used Unfortunately, it doesn't offer much in terms of being able to contact other users.
Hello Ray, Your YSearch search results will display the User IDs of your matches.  Click on the User ID and a few lines below the haplotype result you will see the name for the "Contact person" and a link to "Contact this user"  Sincerely, Peter
I have seen that and have tried to contact people using this in YSearch, but neither "contact person" nor "contact this user" worked for me in any way - and I tried this in IE, Firefox and Chrome.
