A quandary over Bohemian place names for one place study

Question

I have been unsuccessful in getting my one place studies templated correctly.

I have two Krizenec statelets within the Mlada vosice/Tabor/Jihocesky Kraj

I have them listed as they are historically known: Tvrz Kříženec u Vilice okres Tábor, Bohemia and Kříženec u Šebířova, okres Tábor Bohemia

Is it it necessary to eliminate the diacritical marks and to use modern geographical hierarchy?

Interesting to note that the statelet listed first was known as Frauenhof in 1245 {verified physical dating} of an excavated stone archway bearing that name.

Also, that both Krizenec statelets were under the auspices of the Kourimsky kraj which, existed between 1350 and 1650

First of all, you should keep the diacritical marks since they are integral to Czech orthography. You have to distinguish between what you call your One Name Studies and how to categorize people from these places.

• "Kříženec u Šebířova" should probably be ok for the name of your One Name Study. Profiles should be categorized as "Kříženec, okres Tábor" and since it is now a district of Šebířov, the category "Kříženec, okres Tábor" should also be a sub-category of "Šebířov, okres Tábor".
• "Tvrz Kříženec u Vilice" should be ok for your One Name Study. For categorization purposes I would probably use "Vilice, okres Tábor", since I am not sure that the Categorization Project would want separate categories for fortresses.

Thank you Sir, I was uncertain if Tvrz Krizenec should be u Hrncire or u Villice. These two places have changed their cadastral ownership down through the ages. Using contemporary hierarchy makes it difficult to differentiate between the two. Perhaps looking at the pages you will see the templates in red.
