I'm looking for the parents of Alvin J. Hart, born c. 1803 in or near Onondaga County, New York.

Question

I have found him listed in an 1830 census in the town of Salina, NY - along with over 10 individuals in his household (he is listed as Head), most minors.

We have a Mariah Root Hart (Massachusetts, born 10/21/1807) who moved to Illinois with her young son, Franklin Homer Hart, who claimed that her husband, Alvin, died (c. 1839) before she left New York. In our "family tree" their marriage date is c. 1825 in Pompey, Onondaga County, NY.

However, I've reached a dead end in finding anything out about Alvin. I have found a headstone in Oran Cemetery of a Jeanette Hart Fowler that states she was the daughter of Alvin Hart, and that's about it.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

This ancestral file has Joseph Hart as Alvin J Hart's father, and Beulah Warner as his mother. It shows parents for both Joseph Hart and Beulah Warner and lists the children of Joseph and Beulah, Samuel, William, Reuben, Alvin and Lucy Hart.
