Does a person who wasn't in the military (per say) count as a Patriotic Service Profile?

Just finished creating a profile for Charles Hewitt son of Hewitt-38 and Stanton-184. According to ''History of Stonington'' he is one of the men who assisted in taking the British General Prescott out of his bed, the 2nd time he was kidnapped. I haven't found proof of military service so does this make him a Patriotic Servant? I added the code in the { } rather than the veteran one, just want to make sure that's the correct coding.

Thank you.
Patriotic service could be any substantive support for the Revolutionary War; such as:Committee of Safety, Rifle Makers, Providing cloths and sustenance, gun powder, shot, etc.

One definition of Patriot is a person who loves, supports, and defends his or her country and its interests with devotion.  So you do not have to be in the military to be a Patriot.
