Future UPMs (all of us)

How many users think they're making a permanent record of their families, not realising that their Private profiles are likely to be deleted when they "become unresponsive"?

UPM's sounds like something from science fiction. You just never know when you'll become unresponsive. I got up this morning, so not today.
But one day the aliens from Zog who planted you here will decide you're ripe and come to harvest you.

Or perhaps the aliens from Zag who installed you on this system will come back to upgrade you.
Upgrade, that sounds good.
As long as I have a tablet and can type I WILL be here to torment all of you.

Well I may be up, but some days I just want to be unresponsive lol!! Lord help us all when we get old and older and unresponsive!!! Oh yeah, and stop the tormenting you creepy crawlers and spring time bugs.
Dorothy, you don't have to get old.  I found the secret to life is to find the right age and just stick with it.  If I can be 21 then you can certainly be whatever you want.
amen to that Gaile!! Thanks :)
By the way, I'll be attending #5 (in chronological order) grandchild's college graduation in May.  Of course, these grandchildren are all older than me.  They just don't want to take advice from someone with lots of experience being 21 - if they want to get old, there's nothing I can do about it.

LOL!! Thanks for the laugh... but boy does time fly... five grandchildren who graduated, or graduating in May;  girl, you had your hands full! Congratulations proud grandmother opps grand... "21 year old" one!!

I was told that you could make a note for WikiTree to take over your profiles should you die; or I guess "become unresponsive" (To mean you have died, not that you are unresponsive to others trying to contact you but your still here somewhere in space and time.

Seriously, to plan for what will happen to your own WikiTree contributions after you die, see Advance Directive at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Advance_Directive.
