Taphorn Lineage

Question

I have hit a road block back to Germany with my great-grandfather Theodore (Bernard) Taphorn (circa 1867). Its possible he immigrated to the USA 12 May 1883 at age 16 along with Joh. Taphorn (age 28) & Anna Taphorn (age 10). He was married to Katie Krieger & Katherine Hollenkamp. Children were Bernard T, Theodore (1898-1904), Mary, Gesina Josephine (my grandmother & married to William Brill), Rosa & Harry T all from Cincinnati, OH, USA. This has been the hardest lineage I have had in my searches. I am looking forward to hearing from my German & USA long lost relatives.
