Ada Woods Gardiner formerly Hudson

Born 7 Jan 1904 in Pakenham, ONT Canada

She is not the daughter of the Gillans if her last name was a Hudson previously. She could of been married to one of the boys Gillan

Looks like 2 daughters were entered using mother maiden name

My guess is that it went this way:

Eleanor Adeline UNKNOWN married a Mr HUDSON and they had:
Ella Etta, Ada Woods (who became GARDINER), and possibly even  Robert Allen

Then Mr HUDSON died

Eleanor Adeline HUDSON remarried, this time to Robert George GILLAN

That's the main way I can think of that Ada Woods HUDSON became Ada Woods (Hudson) GARDINER

Good guess. Maybe someone else knows of more info on this family.

It's also possible that Alda Eleanor's LNAB was Hudson and she was unmarried when Ada was born.  If Alda later married Mr. Gillan and he adopted Ada, then her birth certificate might have been changed.
