It's hard to trace descendants as censuses aren't public. If you create a profile for Leonard here then descendants might find it and contact you.
To start you off, from the GRO index and FreeBMD, his name was actually Leonard Edmund Ayres and his mother's name Larkin:
AYRES, LEONARD EDMUND LARKIN
GRO Reference: 1912 J Quarter in BETHNAL GREEN Volume 01C Page 208
http://www.freebmd.org.uk:443/cgi/information.pl?cite=F2qugrDya4vID1jYiAby5A&scan=1
He died in 1986 in Norwich from which we get his birthdate as 26 Feb 1912
"England and Wales Death Registration Index 1837-2007," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QVZM-KXHH : 4 September 2014), Leonard Edmund Ayres, Nov 1986; from "England & Wales Deaths, 1837-2006," database, findmypast (http://www.findmypast.com : 2012); citing Death Registration, Norwich, Norfolk, England, General Register Office, Southport, England
Now I looked him up on the 1939 register and found he was married to Bridget Ayres (born 16 Sep 1914) and that Leonard was a Quantity Surveyor. No children are present.
Using Bridget's name we can find the marriage was in 1936 between Leonard Ayres and Bridget Carew in Edmonton. So now to find any children we just search for Ayres born with a mother's maiden name of Carew and ... there aren't any. So it seems Leonard and Bridget didn't have any children.
Leonard also had siblings: James Arthur (b.1908), Veronica Audrey (b. 1914) and Edgar John (b. 1915).
