Adopted a pre 1700 profile where to look for sources?

As the title says really, I've just adopted Oats-63 then while tidying up the profile and checking info I relised it actually fits into my family tree. He came with ancestors already linked, but apparently his father died over 10 years before he was born! Which makes it very obvious that this needed looking into!

I'm querying Martin Oates and Jane as the parents  https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NRM3-QJX?from=lynx1&treeref=K8S7-48K

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NRM3-QJF?from=lynx1&treeref=KZS6-SQ1

I was just wondering if anyone with more experience could point me in the direction of other websites that I might find older records on?

The Cornwall online parish clerk (OPC) is a great resource. Google to find it. It has transcribed baptism, marriage and burial records with a good search facility.  It is quite extensive and free. Find My Past sometimes has records not on the OPC but as you need a subscription the OPC is definitely the first step.

St Just baptisms are transcribed here

                  https://familysearch.org/search/record/results#count=25&query=%2Bbatch_number:P020311

Sadly it's now virtually impossible to find out where they're transcribed from, but it looks like the LDS used a transcript that already existed.

There may or may not be more stuff here, including burials
