Yikes!!!!!

The head of household above is "Widow" Clark in the details of the census. How can you follow that line?
Isn't is Widon Clark?
There seems to be a transcription error as "Widon" is a female. Looking at the details of the census it seems to say "Widow."
It looks to me that the other two people on the census are the husband and wife of Donnie's question, having to do with the wife's maiden name quest.
Yes indeed. So I am thinking that Lucinda is the daughter of "Widow Clark."

The 1870 US Census, for Laurens, SC, has William L Wood, age 57 yrs old and Lovinda C Wood as 43 old. Maybe the C initial in Lovinda's name stands for Clark.

Yeah I was looking at that record on Widon Clark, It sometime customary for children to take care of parents once they get older.
Know I didn't find her maiden name
Assuming Lavinia was Avery, born about 1827 in Laurens, , there were only 4 Avery men in the 1830 Laurens County S C census that had a female child under 5  years of age. They were Joseph Avery, Jesse Avery and Barrington Avery and Joel Avery
Joel Avery and Matilda Franks had a daughter Lucinda

Joseph Avery daughter Hester

Barrington daughter Susan

Jesse daughter Clarissa
You thank I need to add her name as Avery or put a note,?
Joel names Lucinda in his will. I didn't send the will email, it"s 13 pages. Handwritten, hard to read. I couldn't locate a document for her birthday . There are several genealogy dot com family histories naming her. Maybe make a note in bio? Online family histories had specific dates birth death. I'm thinking real name Lucinda and someone copied in wrong to be Luvinda?

Still, Lavinda, Lovina or Luvina's maiden name is elusive so far.
Yes. I looked up Napolean and William A and couldn't find death certificates that might mention their mother's names. I did find and obituary for Napolean in South Carolina.
Can you share the Obituary on the profile?
She does look like a Clark,  doesn't she I'm sorry I been down in my Body shop most of the day, if I put Clark and then we find out its Avery is this a bad move, I ready to move on and add some information,  Thanks for helping on this yall,

The obituary is located at the Greenville library. You have to pay to get it.
