Parents of Greedy-31, parish records produces two sets but with the same names

+2 votes
The parents appear to be John & Anne Greedy (maiden names Collard or Hill) with marriages in Wiveliscombe in 1705 and in Clatworthy in 1715 (they are about 4 miles apart). There is a total of fourteen children shown in the baptism transcripts as having John & Anne Greedy as parents (dates after 1705), only one of which can be attributed to a specific set of parents (annotation stating born within one month of marriage). Based on baptism related to marriage dates it may also be possible to attribute three of the other children to the earlier marriage but unfortunately this cannot be applied to William Greedy who could be the son of either marriage. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how this may be resolved?

Trace both lines.

The two Johns might be cousins anyway.
Misread thought you had 2 Williams
