Maria,

I would like to volunteer to assist with the United Kingdom Project.  Traditionally half of my ancestors came from the UK, and I would very much to verify and clarify the family tradition.  While my ancestors came from each portion of the UK, I do have a slightly more intense focus on Ireland and Scotland.  As a descendant of the Maxwell clan that would only seem proper.

Thank you,

Brian Lange
Hi Brian welcome to WikiTree and to the UK Project.   I picked up your post on the England members interest page.    I'll now add you to the Ireland and Scotland sub projects too.   You might be interested in my ongoing  One Name Study of the Maxwell's in Ireland.   https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Maxwell_Name_Study
I am very interested in the Scottish Clans project.  As a descendant of the Maxwell Clan, why wouldn't I be?
Hi Brian and a very warm welcome to the Scottish Clans Project.   If you would like to sponsor or co-sponsor any clan page just let me know.

Great to have you on board.
Thank you, Maria,

I look forward to researching my own personal relations to the Maxwells, and through marriage to possibly the Douglas and Stewart Clans.  And if my research is helpful to anyone else, all the better.
Have started recently and have small tree to contribute
Hi Sorry I missed this post.  Unfortunately K you were not logged in to WikiTree when you left your message.   Can you post again please once you are logged in.  Many thanks.
I would like to join the Scotland project and the Ireland project please. I am trying to get more information on my ancestor, John and Robert Gibson that came from Scotland and fought in the Revolutionary war, Pennsylvania regiment.

I am also looking for information about my great great grandfather John Hurley from Ireland
Hi Jennifer and welcome to the UK, Scotland and Ireland Projects.
I'd like to join the UK Project, and more specifically, the Scotland Sub-project. I have some information about two families who lived in central Scotland (Stirlingshire and Clackmannanshire) for many centuries: the Stein family and the Haig family. The Haig family married into the Abercrombie family, which in turn married into the Drummond family, and the Drummond family has roots going back to 13th century.

Hi there, I am interested in anything about Scotland, Ireland as well as England. I am Scottish by birth and my late husband was English born with Irish ancestry. I joined WikiTree to research my family's ancestors, who some of whom emigrated to the USA and Canada. Since I started on WikiTree I have found a few places on the world wide web that can help others to find their Scottish Roots. As I am new to this I would like to post links to these places for others to search.

Thank you, I am sure I will benefit from this and enjoy.
I when browsing and searching for Resources came across this site>

http://stataccscot.edina.ac.uk/static/statacc/dist/support/subscription, do you have this on the resources for Scotland?

Hi,

I'd like to join UK Project, specifically GB and Scotland.
by D Theberge G2G3 (3.2k points)
Hi welcome to WikiTree and to the UK and Scotland Projects.  Not sure if I read your interest correctly as I see you mention English ancestors in your tags.   If you would like to join the England sub project too can you either add your name to the member interest page, or let me know if you'd like me to do this for you.   Thanks.
Hello,

I am interested in the English and Scottish sub-projects. Of course I have no idea how to navigate through Wikitree or g2g! I'm very lost. I can't even edit my initial tags or edit my profile errors! Also, can't find how to respond to others who've responded to my Mayflower tag.
Hi D,   I see you are in touch with one of our wonderful mentors.   They are amazing volunteers who will help you get to grips with using WikiTree.   We were all very new at one time so hang in there and enjoy.

In the meatime I've added your good self to the member interest page of the England Project - welcome.

Hello, I am Michael Thomas Stewart.
My Stewart ancestors where from the northern plantstion with origins in Scotland. I have a Scottish Clan Badge. My Clark/Clarke ancestors were East coast English but I also have Evans, Davies, et.al. They range from several areas and tie into many families.

The overlaying history of Europe and colonial America are strung through the heart of my ancestors lives.

I wish to study further and integrate them into what I read about history there and here.

Thanks,

MTS

I am a MacKenzie with almost exclusively Highland ancestors on one side. I'm told my grandfather's family was originally Irish but I'm yet to find any evidence of this.

Hi, my mothers grandparents immigrated from England to Australia in the early 1900's, I know I have family ancestors in England just unsure where they may be. I'm going to go through records with my mum once she returns from holidays until then I'd like to try and research myself. I have names and dates of birth but very new to this.

Hi, I am looking into the Brays in Cornwall, England. My grandfather,William Richard Bray came from Alternun, Cornwall to Ellis Island in 1910 when he was 18 and settled in Boston Mills Ohio. He told me about his father, Christopher Bartlett Bray (alternun, cornwall), but refused to tell me about his grandfather because, he said, "he was a scoundrel and we do not talk about him."

Thanks,

Michael Bray

Hello I am https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Loweth-14 and  have traced my fathers line to https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Lowth-3 .My current goal is to connect the Loweth line to Lowth line and other similar lines that I believe are the same family. To that end I recently took a DNA test.

Most definitely would like to be part of this project. My goals are to be a better genealogist and this group will help me attain that. My interests are mainly in England and Great Briton. My paternal line goes through James Cole-661 of Plymouth and beyond and has been confirmed by a recent dna test. I have a branch that shoots off with Anne Bodrugan-9 in the 1300's that continues for another 16 generations and I'd like to confirm that if possible.  At the very least this Project will add to my knowledge of Great Briton's history and hopefully will help me get my pre-1500 badge.

Thank you, William Cole

Hi! I'm already a member of the England Project, but as I'm 1/4 Scottish, could I be a member of the Scotland Project too? I'm slowly working through adding my relatives one by one, but am about to expand the Scottish branches!

Thanks

Edited: Just realised I am member of UK Project not the England Project!

Hi Michelle. It's the one badge for the UK, England and Scotland projects.  All you need to do is add your name to the member interests pages.   You were already a member of the England Project by the way so now I've added your good self to the Scotland Project page.  Welcome !!  See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:England_Project_-_Member_Interests and https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Scotland_Project_-_Member_Interests Links to both are on the respective Project pages.
