Does anyone have information on Frank Alexander Rose born July 4, 1858 in Bern Switzerland

Thank you so much for the responses. I should have been more specific in  my question - I have a lot of information on Frank Rose after he came to the US - what I can not find is anything regarding his birth or relatives in  Bern, Switzerland. I have World access on Ancestry but not finding anything there.

This Pedigree Resource File was submitted in 2015. It shows two sons, Carl born 1902 and Douglas Alexander, born 1912 who married Hazel Olivia King.

Swiss citizens have a "Bürgerort" which is the town where they have citizenship rights. If they live somewhere else all events such as births, marriages, deaths etc. get reported back to the "Bürgerort" so that there exists a collection of vital data for the family in one place. The "Familiennamenbuch" lists the family names of Swiss citizens with the commune where they have citizenship. An online version can be found here.

GenWiki has some information about doing genealogy in Switzerland, and another website is SCHWEIZER FAMILIENFORSCHUNG AUF DEM INTERNET.
