Will you register for the Spring Clean-a-Thon 2017? (3 of 4) [closed]

This registration thread is now full!  See the current one here.

The goal is to clear out as many database errors as possible. 

It will be going for 72 hours straight, April 22-24. We're including Monday so that those who are busy on the weekend can still participate.

Morning from Canada Eowyn,

I keep receiving the error message "Your WikiTreeID (Henry-2448) is not participating in Clean-A-Thon" as I am fixing my errors.  It looks like it's still allowing me to post the "fix" but thought I had mention this in case my "unofficial" participation causes any problems.

Put me on A Rose by Any Other Name. I'd like to work on either Danish profiles, French Canadian profiles or German Roots profiles.  There are tons of false name errors on those profiles that need to be cleaned out as those cultures use multiple given names and don't have a middle name concept.

Correcting errors is an ongoing effore, so YES, you can correct errors now... but they won't count as having been corrected as part of the Clean-a-Thon (be sure to use the status button - before to check if it's already been corrected & after to note that it has been - since the database list is updated on Mondays, noting status changes is needed to cut back on duplicated efforts).

Yes, I would like to participate. I plan to clean up errors in some profiles that I have adopted related to my Kentucky/North Carolina line, so if there's a team working in Kentucky or North Carolina and nearby states, you can assign me to that one.

The only snag is I have to work European time on the 22nd, ut outside of that, I'm yours.

I'd most like to work on the pre 1500 team. Failing that, do we have a team for Cornwall yet - we could call it team Kernow...

I have just noticed though, my pre1500 adge doesn't appear to have got activated yet. I resumitted for it at the last event as so long had passed without it showing up. - Does that stop me from joining the pre1500s. I do have pre1700 if that helps?

Yes, you need the pre-1500 badge to work on pre-1500 profiles. The coordinator for pre-1500 applications is really good - if she received your application, you should have heard from her within a couple of days. I'll check into it & get back to you privately.
