My name is Jeanneth Estevez Cuevas; I have 38 years old and I
am a graphic designer. We are from Guatemala City, Central America, where we
live.
My sister and I were searching for information on the web that takes us to
find our grand father. My father came to Guatemala when he was 13 years old
and he never returns to Los Angeles so he doesn't saw his father since that
day and we don't know our grandfather, just by the pictures that our
grandmother brought when she came to Guatemala in 1968.
We don't want either to make trouble, we only want to find him, and if he is a live, and the must important, if he wants to contact us, we would like to be in touchwith him; because as you might know, is never to late to find someone that you love, there always second chances in life.
We are sure that my grandmother came back to Guatemala for health reasons,
and then the time passed by, my father grown up, he got married and here we
are; we don't really know why they lost all communication, and I think than
may father doesn't know either. But he was really excited when we show him
that maybe, there is a possibility to find his father.
We include some details that might help; if our grandfather read this, he will recognise this little review and, it will be at his discretion if he contacts us.
Here is some information that might help:
Our father is an US American Citizen; he was born in Los Angeles California
on April 16 of 1955. He came to Guatemala 44 years ago on 1968 at the age of
thirteen. Since that they he has not saw his father, that's the reason that
we don't know our grandfather, just by pictures. That is why we are asking
for your help; to know about him, if he is a live, if he is healthy, if he
remembers our grandmother and their sons, to know him in person and the most
important, to get together father with son if it is possible.
Our grandfather's name is *Norman E. Larson*, or Norman Iv Larson, my mother don't know for sure if the middle name begins with an "E" or it is "Iv". He was born in Minnesota on 1930, approximately, and he might have 82 years old if he is a life. He was a US Navy Marine so he is a Veteran of war, we don't know wich one. He is a Public Accountant and he had his office at Dube Building, suite 3, Cloquet Minnesota, in 1050's. He was postulate as Senator of Minnesota. He also have a navy tattoos on both arms.
He has white skin and we think he has green eyes; hi is about 6.5 feet tall.
Our grandmother arrived from Guatemala to Los Angeles California on 1949.
She was 38 years old; she was born in Guatemala City, Central America; her
name was *Maria Elvira Estevez Massella.* On those days she was pregnant
with our father's brother, our uncle Federico Estevez who was born on July
16, 1949.
Some time later, she knew our grandfather, *Norman Larson*, who was
younger than her. Back on those days, they where a couple but did not
married because he had already compromised. On April 16, 1955, Norman an
Elvira bring to live a baby boy and they named *Norman Robert Estevez*.
Both, our father and grandmother knew our grandfather relatives.
On 1968, our grandmother decided to come to Guatemala with our father for health reasons and to visit her family, but she never went back to Los Angeles. We do not know the reason, why she did not return or why they lost all communication. We just know that our grandma always talked nicely of our grandfather.
Our grandmother, Elvira Estevez past away on June 20, 1997, she died of
cancer disease.
