I am a direct descendant of Clara Langley born 1873 - her parents were Jessie Brown 15/10/1841 (King Island)  - Clara's father was Edward Langley born c1829 they were married at Morven (Evandale) Tasmania on 15/10/1841.  Clara Langley married George Izard and one of their Children was Neville Francis Langley Izard born 1917 and died in 1993. He is my grandfather. I have more information about Clara's siblings and also possible information about Jessie Brown's heritage as well... we believe Jessie Brown is the daughter of Henry Brown 1798-1880 - (king Island) he married Esther Scott ?? who we think is the daughter of John Scott 1770-1843 and Mary (Tasmanian Aboriginal) born in 1800 ?? we think her full  name is Mnnermannemener. John Scott was a sealer on King Island.  I am trying to find out more info about Mary though. There is not much on record.

I have done extensive research about John Scott (1770-1843) and Mary from their stay on King Island.  I do not find any record of an Ester Scott.  They had 5 children on King Island.  Two died on the island, one infant child died in the boating accident that killed John Scott, and the other boy died after getting sick on Oct 22 1841. There were two girls that survived the whale boat accident that killed John and their infant child.  The two girls made it to Melbourne and joined the Anne Drysdale family in Nov 1843. Their names were Maryanne and Kitty.  I don't have precise information about what happened to the fifth child, their oldest son Tom. <!--EndFragment-->
