Can I Create an inverted tree i. e. starting with Ancestors & ending descendants ?

I think the answer is - not in Wikitree. Any decent family history program will do it for you. Family Historian will do it from a GEDCOM.

Well, sorta.  Find your earliest ancestor, click on the "Descendants" tag below the colored tabs at the top. this will give you the "Inverted tree" for up to 5  generations.  If needed, go then to your youngest ancestor on this set of roots and do the same thing again.
True, but I was assuming it was a diagram that was wanted.
