I'm looking for info on my great grandmother, Emma Smiley, husband Willis Nathan Hayes, parents Andrew Smiley and Nancy Ann Rector, lived in southern Illinois.

Vina ,may be misspelled .

Let me see Census record they are on.Not been able to find one.Often it

is because of spelling.Not many could read write or spell.So Census taker

had to guess.Germans settled a lot in Illinois.And they were hard to

understand.I know i was born there.

Did Nancy Smiley,first husband die and then she marry Thomas Williams.

Aug 21 1873.There is a female Sidney Alice Williams born Mar 19 1881,

Father Thomas Williams,Mother Nancy A Smiley.
