How do I add a Free Space page to a photo?

I'm trying to get the cemetery photos I've taken to show up on the page I made for that cemetery, but I have no idea how to add the Free Space profile. (Is this even making sense? Ugh!)

For example, I'd like to add this space page, [[Space: Salem Street Cemetery, Malden, Massachusetts | Salem Street Cemetery]], to this photo, https://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/Harmon-4231-2. Any tips?

If I understand your question, where it says ADD PEOPLE, to the photo, you can use Space:Salem_Street_Cemetery%2C_Malden%2C_Massachusetts

If that doesn't take, I would suggest remaking the page without commas in the title. Wiki doesn't like commas in titles for some reason.

You can merge two Free Space pages, Add the two page titles FOLLOW the directions on the on page. I've had to do it a couple of times myself. if my memory serves the SPACE: is already there and you just need to add the rest of the name.
So I found the "Category":

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Salem_Street_Burying_Ground%2C_Medford%2C_Massachusetts

Which is for the Salem Street Cemetery (alternate name) - And I hunted a bit, and found the Free Space Page:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Salem_Street_Cemetery%2C_Malden%2C_Massachusetts

So if I understand correctly, you want to add the photos to the Free Space Page directly? I think you would just go to the Images tab and upload them, however, this places the images on the Free Space Page and does not align them with the profiles they belong with. I would instead recommend you place them with the profile they belong to, and then link to them in the table on the page. Does that make sense?
Ah, so the commas are what's making it not work! That explains it. Lesson learned for next time. Thank you Lynette!

I learned the hard way.

Its really an easy fix. You just have to pay attention. Create the new profile and leave it blank. In little bitty tiny letters somewhere in the bottom right hand is MERGE  Its best to have both free space profiles open, so I hope you are on a computer where you can have both names open and copy and paste each SPACE: name   The SPACE: is already there. so Paste the old name on the left and the new name in the right. click on merge. Everything gets moved to the new profile.

Now the clincher is... even tho I have laid it out. READ THE PAGE because I get my left and right mixed up.

Have fun!!

You will have to link the person(s) to the free-space page in order for their marker photo to show on free space page.  I hope that you don't mind but I went ahead and created a Table of Interments for the free space page for you and added both Artemas and Mittie to it.  You can use that as a guide if you like it or delete!  Really hope this helps you!

This is a free space page that I have done.  You can use it for help if you need to!

This is my grandfather, who is buried in the Hopewell Cemetery.

Mind? I couldn't be more grateful! I'd tried so many different things to try to get the table to work - thank you so much! One more question - is there an easy way to fill in more people? This certainly helps a LOT!
I'm a stubborn person, so I hand edit all my entries, but I have heard of an easy way using a spreadsheet and inputting the spreadsheet that way. Let me see if I can't find more about that.
Look at this thread:

https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/97637/how-do-i-get-my-cemetery-spreadsheet-onto-the-free-space-page?show=97637#q97637

I have never tried this before, but apparently there is a macro that turns spreadsheets into table entries for Wikitree.
Glad that I could help!  I have only ever hand entered my entries also!  Time consuming but once you get the hang of it it is easy peasy!  I have never done the spread sheet.  I know a lot of people don't like the copy and paste here, but I that is what I do.  I just copy a line and replace the profile numbers that link a person to the table with another person that belongs there.  Any time you are needing help, if I can I will be glad to give any help I can!

Liz did a great job setting up the table, so you will just have to plug in any other profiles that you connect.
