Can anyone provide info on McHenry family from southern states please?

I am researching my husband's family.  They are all from the southern states of Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana.  Some may be from the Carolinas as well. I have hit a brick wall and don't know where else to look. We have information on John Washington McHenry born 10/9/1868, died 8/28/1949.  His father's name is Benjamin F McHenry died in 1870 and mother's name is Lucy or Lucinda McDaniel born 1841, died 1918.
