Can the name appear when adding parent by WT ID?

When adding a parent by entering the WikiTree ID on the "Edit Family of X" page in the field at "A.) If the [father/mother] has an existing WikiTree profile enter their WikiTree ID here:", it would be helpful if a confirmation page appeared with the name and dates/places of the person the ID's associated with, instead of the system immediately adding the entered ID as parent. That way, if you've made a typo in the WikiTree ID, you're less likely to attach the wrong person as parent.

I agree. Great suggestion!

A related request: When we add a child to a parent who had multiple spouses, there's a series of checkboxes to identify the child's other parent. That list shows only First Names and Current Last Names -- no LNAB and no WikiTree ID. Particularly when a man had several wives with the same first name, this can make it very difficult to figure out which one to choose. (If I'm adding a child for Lewis Jones, I am asked if I want the mother to be Elizabeth Jones or Elizabeth Jones or Elizabeth Jones, but I want to select the Elizabeth with a particular maiden name.) It would be real nice to include either or both LNAB or WikiTree ID in those displays.

That would also be helpful!
Hi Sharon. We'll think about this next time we rework this page.

Ellen, that's an easy fix that has been on the to-do list. I'll make sure it gets done.
