Is this Edward the father of Jackson William Ellis from indian territory Oklahoma?

Trying to find ancestors of Jackson William Ellis buried in Bunch OK, father is suppose to be a Edward who died with his brother Samuel at Fort Gibson, indian territoy, oklahoma.  Jackson born in 1856 or 1859.

Check findagrave. com for Jackson W. Ellis ( captain) in Bunch, Adair County.  I wasn't able to successfully link to that memorial.  I think this is your guy.

Also research Captain Jackson W. Ellis obituary bunck ok on google.  It should bring you to a web page hosted by rootsweb which will be called ITsketches2.  Your Jackson will be down the page some and you will find information about your storied ancestor in there.  Sounds like he was one cool guy.
