Who was Dorothy M. Harnett (married Staines 3a 145) related to? [closed]

Question

Dorothy M. Harnett appears to have married my greatgrandmother's younger brother, Charles James Edward WALTERS (b 1901 Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa;  d 1971 Brent, Greater London).

It would appear they had 2 daughters Elsie WALTERS (b b. 1939 - d. 1939) & Pamela D. WALTERS (b. 1943 - ).

In 1947, they appeared to have been living in Cricklewood, Middlesex with an Elizabeth Harnett.

I'm afraid I have no further information on Dorothy, not even her 2nd name.

Only that she & Charles were married in the 2nd quarter of 1939  (Vol 3a; Pg 145).

I think that their 2nd born daughter, Pamela D. WALTERS, may have married George A. ABBOTT in the 3rd quarter of 1962 (Vol 5c;  Pg 2123).

If Pamela is still alive, she has 2 living siblings in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa!

Yes, I've found the marriage and the births. But no suitable birth or 1911 census record.

Another thought. Was Dorothy a widow when she married? I presume from your reference to the marriage that you don't yet have the marriage certificate? Perhaps that is the next step?

Oh my word! You too sent shivers down my spine as Charles' 3 children assumed he was dead so they never knew he'd remarried or had another 2 daughters! Just yesterday I was trying to organise to get copies of Charles' 2nd marriage as well as your mom's as neither your mom's half sister (85!) or I were sure we were on the right track!
