G2G Login versus WikiTree Login?

More of an FYI that I was apparently logged into G2G without being logged-in to WikiTree... when I came over from the Facebook page my information was already on the screen.

I think this service will become very helpful and am really excited about it. Thanks for this opportunity WikiTree team!

Can you explain more of what you mean about the login? Do you mean that you were logged-in with your Facebook account? Were you able to do anything?

There could be a bug here. We did try enabling Facebook logins as a way for non-WikiTree users to track their Q&A.

I was logged-in to Facebook but not WikiTree at the time. I was surprised that my name came up but it makes sense if it is synced with FB. I don't have a problem with it, I was just confused as I always log out of WikiTree or it boots me out for inactivity. I did notice, however, that there was the "Logout" link available on G2G before I actually logged into WikiTree.

I could have added a question or answered with my name/information (and I think it even had watchlist activity/edits there too, which would only confuse matters more) with only having logged into facebook. I'll log out of WikiTree and G2G and try to replicate and do a screenshot.

Just tried it and it DOES NOT do it anymore. Seems fixed. No info from FB or WikiTree showed up anywhere. You guys do good work.

UPDATE I am logged into G2G without being logged into WikiTree right now. I typed the address, wikitree.com/g2g, straight into my browser and all my information under "My Account", including my name and 3557 wikitree contributions, is there. Just thought I'd let you know, seems like a cookie thing.

Also just logged out of facebook and closed my browser, double-checked i had no active logins, went to the site, and the story is the same: already logged into G2G
