Who are the parents of Green-21698

I am stuck at my ancestor, Bartlett Carter Green. He is my 3rd great grandfather. Thanks for any help!

This is only a clue. There are 77 Green/Greene men in the 1790 South Carolina census. One of these is Bryant/Bryan Green who married Phoebe Carter.

If no one else finds him, I can look for his spouse tomorrow. Maybe him. I do a lot in the South finding my slave ancestors and mostly I find white people keep names.  So middle name of your guy being Carter, I'd look for a Green man and a Carter woman for parents first then if not, a Green man who's mother was a Carter and he named his son Bartlet Carter Green. There's 99 per cent probable that a Carter female is a generation or two away.  

Anyway, if you don't find him send me a note and I'll look after work tomorrow for more clues

Bartlett Carter Green's wife was Susan Davis. They were married in Richmond County, GA in 1819. An interesting find, is that Bartlett's son, James E. Green, married a Louisa Jane Davis. She was a daughter of Rev. Elisha Davis and Sally Roe Powell. That was in Stewart County, GA, in 1824.

A male descendant of  Green - 21698, Bartlett Carter Green, has been Y-DNA tested. There are very few matches with the Green surname. Most matches have the Prendergast surname. Are there any others with this connection who have Y-DNA tested?

Hello. My name is Jacob Green. I am a direct dependent of Joseph Green 1717-1775 Bute County NC. I am linked on family tree Y-DNA with a descendant of Bartlet Carter Green through the same haplo group of R-M198. I know that Joseph had 2 confirmed sons, William and my ancestor Josiah, who'd families all migrated to Georgia. William and Josiah did not have a son by this name but I am curious if you are descended from one of Joseph's brothers.
