Will my Y-DNA test provide any info re Chase-4539?

Jason Lincoln Chase is my maternal great grandfather (Chase-4539). Is my y-DNA test able to tell me anything? If not, what test would, if any. The links are me(male), my mom, her mom, Chase-4539(male).

Also, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Stevens-11258 has done family finder and so have I but (Chase 4539) does not mention me, only Holly. I am confused. HALP!!! What, if anything, should I be doing. I know already (Stevens-11258) is a (NEW!) cousin for me.

Thank you Sharon and Matthew!! I have entered my auDNA to my DNA Page now. I can't tell if I have had an mtDNA test or not, my DNA page seems to show only what the results would be IF I got an mtDNA. I wonder if I should while FTDNA is having a sale.

The info from my Family Finder opened up a huge portal of otherwise lost family members for which I am grateful to Kitty Smith, Holly Horner and Jackie Marshall. Hope they see this.

You only inherit yDNA from your father so it can't tell you anything about maternal ancestors.

The good news is that, if I'm reading your tree correctly, you and Holly should have virtually identical mtDNA from Emma Chase, Jason's wife.

Your DNA tests page shows that you've taken the Y-DNA test but not that you've taken the Family Finder. That's added separately from the Y-DNA test: go to the bottom of your DNA page to "Add a New Test", and under "Select DNA Test" choose FamilyTree DNA Family Finder.

Once you've added the test, it usually takes a day or two for it to show up on your close relatives' profiles.

I know I should know this, but I don't. And I know I will slap my head when you tell me!!! So I ask: Where do I find my GEDMatch ID?????

I now cower in a corner awaiting your help, and thank you in advance for it. :-)
If you've imported your results into GEDMatch, log into GEDMatch.com and  find the ID there -- for an FTDNA test, it'll start with T. (If you haven't imported your results into GEDMatch, then you don't have an ID yet :-).)
