Magnus -- if you could just add sysop as a tag and put these in the WikiTree Tech category, like you did, I would prefer to add the tracked_bug tag myself. That's how I know I've noted it and started the tracking process.

   1. is a problem at db_errors... that I guess Aleš already has fixed see comment 381478#c381478

   1. two-profiles-with-same-id-number is a Wikitree bug... 
      1. only visible characters should be part of WikiTreeID
      2. If invisible characters like soft hyphen are added to location, name fields etc.... then they should be deleted and not saved in the database

Good and also clean up the profiles with this character

Validating feels the wrong approach better just to "clean" the LNAB or name fields.... from those bad characters..... Even I will be confused with an Error message "Sorry sir you are adding an invisible character please try again" 

Feels like Aleš found more errors see comment 381478#c381478 I guess it's a small problem as you "only" get problems when you have external linking and do copy paste of an URL. Inside the Wikitree echo system I feel we can handle visible and nonvisible characters with no problems.....

Lesson learned is that suggesting a merges and trying to explain the hidden character problem and also please merge to a higher number yada yada is not on my list of things I have succeeded to do.......
