Can I find where this Robert Jones (Australian)came from?

I've come to a dead end with my Jones family. Can anyone help?

Robert William Jones born 11 August 1861 Peppermint Farm, nr Strathalbyn, SA and died 31 Dec 1887 was (according to SA BDM) the son of Robert Jones (1809-1873) and Henrietta Elizabeth Ann Boon born about 1828 in Bath, Abbey, Somerset, England. She died about 1883. Henrietta was married to Robert on the 3rd April, 1856. Robert William Jones married Alice (Jones?) 31 Dec 1887 at Primitive Methodist, Queenstown, Port Adelaide, SA. I would be greatful for any help with Robert Jones - any way of tying him to an arrival or birth place.

Do you have a birth day and month for Robert Jones? I'm guessing he was born in Somerset, England, if so, it narrows the possibilities. There were men named Robert Jones born elsewhere in England and one in Ireland.

Henrietta and Robert married in 1856.  Do you have the location, England, SA, or other?

Sorry I don't have his day/month of birth. He was married to Henrietta on April 3, 1856 in Adelaide, SA. Robert Jones died 06 Apr 1873 in Strathalbyn, Sth Aust.

Yes, he could but as you said it is a common name so this is where I am stuck. I have seen several possibilities in my trawling but none that I can tie to him.
