Kilgore date discrepencies

Your answer to my question about the Kilgore ancestors was sensible, both James and Janet were both born in Peebles, Peebleshire, Scotland. And must be matched incorrectly. If I use her date of 1790, that date falls in line with her parents. However, using the 1790 date for James makes him born almost 175 years after his parents. You can imagine the mess when I use that date.

I probable should never have started this, I have no idea how to start a tree in wikitree and the My Heritage tree only lets me see small parts of the tree....again probable due to my lack of knowledge about the service.

Did not mean to write a book or bore you, but again thank you for your help to a floundering newbie.
