I insert a name exactly as in WikiTree to do a search and the search engine says its not in the system, what gives?

That is all I have is a name. I know its in the database because it shows up in the relationship calculator.

Hi Joseph,

Instead of "Requests for Genealogical Help" look at the pull down menu entitled "category." -

Pull down menu, click WikiTree tech.  They may be able to help you with this question.

If it's not showing up when you put the name in the WikiTree search box, it's possible that you are using a slightly different spelling. Or maybe the person has an LNAB of Unknown (there's a bug in the search protocol that prevents these people from showing up). If you believe it's a bug, post the name here so it can be investigated.

Luckily for you, if they show up in Relationship Finder, there's a link you can click on in the Relationship Finder output that will take you to their profile.
