Children's Dates in Data Field

Question

Making sure that children were born while their parents were living is an obvious genealogical task, and the subject of many database errors.

It would be most helpful to me, and I hope to others, if the data field display on profiles could be tweaked so that instead of showing that the children were John Doe, Jane Doe, Henry Doe, etc, it could show that they were John Doe (1674-1710), Jane Doe (1676-?), and Henry Doe (1678-1690), etc.  Then when you try to save and the red message comes up about children's dates, etc, it would be immediately obvious what the problem is!

when you hover your mouse pointer over them, the alt text popup does show date of birth (and now location too).

I don't know how to show alt text on touch screen devices
