I have little to no faith in this record: http://www.ancientfaces.com/person/m-massey-swearingen/930580 but it claims the name starts with an M.
Most sources on the internet indicate Massey is married to Samuel Swearingen III, while Samuel Swearingen II was married to Mary Bolling.
This next link talks about the line of Gerret, Thomas, Samuel, but no Samuel II and III: http://archive.org/stream/familyregisterof00inswea#page/n73/mode/2up
The same author in an earlier work indicates that Gerret had only one son, Zacharias, who was the father of Samuel but still no son samuel.
This entry : http://records.ancestry.com/Samuel_Swearingen_records.ashx?pid=24713115 gives a later date of birth for ? Massey (c. 1763) but this date would make a marriage in 1770 unlikely. Other sources that claim a 1763 birth give a marriage of 1778 in Burke, Orange, NC.
The best record I can find in terms of documenting sources is: http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/o/l/s/Geraldine-A-Olschki/GENE3-0001.html but this source also does not name ? Massey.
