What was the cause of death for Johan Berglund (1846 - 1869), age 23?

Johan Berglund, Born 8 Sep 1846 in Håkansön Piteå lfs, Norrbottens län, Norrbotten, Sweden.

He was probably too young to have married and had children.  I wonder why he passed away so young at age 23?

One would expect the cause of death to have been TBC, but he died from mag-inflammation - stomach inflammation, whatever that was.
