GEDCOM for WikiTree not accepting gender?

I received this feedback from John Dixon (Dixon-2584), if someone could please reach out to him with a response of some sort of status, update on situation, and/or suggestions?

Thank you for setting the gender again for that person. I had already set the gender prior to uploading the data via GEDCOM; it is in those upload routines that the gender is rejected.

In the long term it would save you a lot of work if you could attempt to get that GEDCOM error fixed. I have attempted, but am met with a wall of silence. John Dixon.

Ps. I am about to upload another batch of 100 names all with the gender set correctly, but they will be rejected again, and you will have to fix them.

Thank you!

I'm quite sure the general use case works just fine, else we would have a lot more complaints.

There must be something specific about his data that is causing a problem.

Sending an email to info@wikitree would be best, as the folks on that list can look at both his data and the import code to determine the problem.
