Purpose of Thank You link on Nav Home Page?

Silly question maybe but what is the purpose of the link that says "you've been thanked xxx times." It doesn't go anywhere.

Thank-Yous

You've made 12226 contributions. To remind you it's appreciated, you've been thanked 1009 times.

I would have thought it would link to the Thank You Feed (https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:Thanks&action=feed&who=11233188) but it links to the "Thank-Yous" heading on the Nav Home Page, in other words to itself.

It just skips the page down a bit to the start of your thankyou list - at least it does in my browser.

I must have changed my settings somehow then but can't figure out how. On my Nav Home page, the thank you's show right underneath the link. Yours doesn't look like this?

Thank-Yous

03:09: Volunteer Name thanked You for this: You confirmed VolunteerName as a full member with a comment. [1 thank-you received]

Granted, it moves the Thank You list to the top of the screen if I hadn't already scrolled down that far but .... seems that if it's going to tell one how many times they've been thanked, it should take them to the list of all those times.

I agree it isn't very logical or user friendly. I suppose you know that in order to get the full thankyou list you need to click the More link at the bottom. The link at the top could well have the same function, but it doesn't.

Thanks, Eva, for talking it through with me. I did know about the More link at the bottom. I usually use the Thank You feed link in the My WikiTree menu.

The part that concerned me is that the "you have been thanked" link is the first one that most new users would see. If it goes nowhere, it's likely just to frustrate them. I figured I'd ask in case it was an easy fix.
There probably IS an easy fix, if the techies notice this and don't have reasons against a change.

An easy fix, yes. :-)

Thank you, Debi and Eva!
