How do I remove this woman as a wife tho she died bear children by Percy

Elise Vane did NOT MARRY Percy Criddle but was his mistress who lived with him and his wife in the same home.  Both woman had children by him and am wondering if there is some way this can be corrected??

Hi Lauraine,

To remove Sabina Elise as Percy's wife go to Percy´s Edit page and click on [add/remove a spouse] (Spouses section). On the new page click on II. Remove spouse, select Sabina Elise and click on REMOVE SPOUSE OF PERCY CRIDDLE and you´re done.

Sabina Elise will still be mother of Edwy and Harry.

Not sure I want to do that as Elise Vane had 5 children by Percy Criddle - he actually more or less had two wives at the same time who lived in the same house.  Most unusual circumstances for the 1880's. as that was illegal.  Elise lived in the house with her children as his servant but was actually Percy Criddle first "love" tho he never married her.

Lauraine, you're explainig very clearly the relation to Percy on Elise's biography. I think removing Elise as Percy's wife will reflect exactly what happened: Elise was the mother of some Percy's children but they never got married.

(By the way, profiles for their children Minnie, Isabel and Cecil are missing)

The family structure comes out very well in the family group sheet for Percy.

I should think the whole family will be there also when the marriage to Sabina Elise is disconnected. You'll have to try it and see. If it works out well you may want to put a link to that view into the profiles - it's not all visitors who notice that viewing possibility.

I want to make sure all the children are added before removing Elise Vane as Percy's wife.  Will probably have to do this when I return as I need to make sure from the G Grandson it is correct.
