23andMe have been doing a lot of marketing lately, but they've turned up in a place I didn't expect.
For several years now, I've been doing most of my online search using www.goodsearch.com, because they take a portion of the money they make through the advertising they show me when I search, and give it to the charity of my choice. (I've heard of search engines which actually pay their users, but I kind of like the idea of being able to support a charity, just by using a different search engine. [Not, you understand, that I am averse to anybody giving money to me.])
Anyway, GoodSearch has a sister site called GoodShop, and for a couple of weeks now, 23andMe has been showing up as one of the highlighted sites. They have a bunch of offers going, too. (See https://www.goodsearch.com/coupons/23andme
So if you have been thinking of using 23andMe, this could be a way to save a little money on it, and support a charity at the same time.
