I have confirmation that a John Purss was married to Dorothy Simpson in the Scottish census of 1871,
This census indicates they were born in Ireland.
I would like help finding my Irish roots prior to Scotish roots, and then travelling to Nanaimo B. C. Canada in 1911. This confirmed by passenger list
