.Tangled Roots and Trees reviewed the Great Jennens case which happened after the death of William "the Miser" Jennens [[Jennens-19 | William Jennens]]. The Wikipedia article lists William "the Miser" Jennens as the grandson of Humphrey Jennens/Jennings, but he was not. He was the grandson of Humphrey's half-brother John. John and Humphrey's father John Jennens had been married twice (See "Tangled Roots and Trees") and the two great grandson's of John were both named William. The William who died in 1803 was the grandson of Humphrey. The court wanted to make Humphrey's descendants heirs to his brother's grandson William instead of justly giving it to William "the Miser's" heirs. Lady Andover, etc., were not heirs of William "the Miser."
