Is John really the father of Isaac Clendenin?

Question

Looking for help to authenticate the relationship of Isaac Clendenin (Clendenin-21) and the supposed father, John (Clendenin-18). I'm kinda new on this and wasn't sure of the proper protocol.

All of the records I can find on Isaac Clendenin show him in New Jersey all his life. He was born about 1750, earliest record I found was 1772 in NJ. I don't see a single record showing John to be the father. John and his family lived in Pennsylvania. Mostly all were born and died there. Things don't match up. All the audna testers, excluding me, descend from John and I don't match them. Proof that Isaac and John aren't father-son?

This possible error isn't only here on wikitree but also on Ancestry and One World Tree. Any solution to this mystery? YDNA?

Yeah I searched up information I not sure at this point that there is any source information that could verify the parents yet at this point. Ancestry Trees are a very poor "source" more a breadcrumb in my opinion to help you find some more relevant information.

Eddie, I believe that's a different Isaac Clendenin who is a Quaker living in PA. Clendenin-21 was living in NJ at the time, 1828. Thanks for trying to help.

Yeah when I searched up that was also one of the records that caught my eye however I couldn't find nothing in all that information that would verify as a source.

Just wanted to follow up with the fact that I found out I AM related to John Clendenin and his family due to the results of Ancestry DNA matching in which I match up with several other members who descend from John or his siblings. That I believe. Now whether John is the father of Isaac, I'm still investigating.

I have researched the Clendenin family pretty extensively. Isaac Clendenin is NOT part of the John Clendenin family, whom connects with the Huston and Sharron/Sharon families. 
John Clendenin's land was located in the extreme northwest of Silver Spring, in the angle formed by Stony Ridge and the mountain. He owned the land by the improvements he made – settling on the property, building a cabin, working the farm – not by warrant or patent. Samuel Huston and John Clendenin were brothers-in-law: John was married to Janet Huston, Samuel's sister. They had these children: Jonathan, John, Margaret, William, Jennie, Mary, Annie, Isabella and James Clendenin.

There are NO Isaac Clendenin sons in any of the families.
