Revolutionary War soldier Robert Swain was born 26 Mar 1726, in Ireland.  He died 2 Nov 1812, buried at Greenville Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Abbeville, SC.  His father, William Swain (1688-1770), I have no source for this information and mother is unknown.  Married Elizabeth Ward (1711-1812).  Robert Swain is my 5 g grandfather.  This information and more came from South Carolina, Find A Grave Index, 1729-2012.
