Using others' photos with permission?

I'm working on some Massachusetts cemeteries as part of the cemetery project. I'm wondering what the policy is on using photos taken by other people if I have permission and give them credit? I've started doing this, but I wanted to clarify this was allowed before going forward.

Thanks for your thoughts or a point in the right direction on a precise rule pertaining to this topic.

If you have permission(ideally in writing, such as an email) and give credit there should be no problem.

That's what I figured, but I just wanted to double-check. Thanks so much!
If it is posted online anywhere (not always the case), it's good form to provide a link, too. Asking for permission helps get WikiTree a little more visibility, too.
That is what i do.
I agree, Elizabeth. Thanks for taking the time to answer! :)
