Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Foley, Bloomington; Sandra Mann, Roanoke, Va.; Brenda David, Bloomington; three sons,' Merle (Joyce) Boitnott, Roanoke, Va.; Earl (Diana) Boitnott, Normal; Leonard (Geraldine) Boitnott, Bloomington; one sister, Nina Donaldson,- Bloomington; two brothers, Jimmy (Pat) Gibson, Bloomington; Wilburn (Elsie) Gibson, Normal; 29 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter; two sisters; and five grandchildren.

from October 30, 1989. OCR text: Benjamin L. Boitnott The funeral of Benjamin L. Boitnott, 77, of 808 W. Washington St., Bloomington, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. The Rev. Tim Mitchell will officiate. Burial . will be in West Twin Grove Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at the memorial home. He died at Benjamin L 2;2,4 P',n Soo Boitnott urday (Oct. 28, 1989) at his home. He was born May 19, 1912, in Boones Mill, Va., a son of Joseph and Delia Mae Abshire Boitnott. He married Norma Gibson Feb. 24, 1936, in Bloomington. She survives. Also surviving are three sons, Merle, Moneta, Va.; Earl, 1705 S. Bunn -St., Bloomington; and Le-noard, R.R. 3, Bloomington,; three daughters, Sharon Foley, 806 W. Washington St., Bloomington; Sandra Mann, Roanoke, Va.; and Brenda Nettleton, 808 W. Washington St., Bloomington; two brothers, Robert Boitnott, Carlock, and Walter Boitnott, Chenoa; three sisters, Josephine Zink, 409 E. Cherry St., Normal; Ollie Mae Gambrel, Wood Hill Towers, Bloomington; and Mary S. Foley, Boones Mill, Va.; 23 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 22 greatgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one daughter, one brother, tRree sisters, five grandchildren and one great-grandson. Mr. Boitnott was a member' of West Twin Grove Church and farmed in the McLean County area for 50 years. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
