Multiple birth certificates and other records

I know that a person can have dual citizenship in the USA and in England.  My second husband is one who does, His family was all from Wales and England and he was born here. They filed and got the birth certificates for both due to the laws.

My question about this is, does it work the same with other documentation? For example can marriage records be noted for both places if the person has dual citizenship? i know his parent's death records were in both locations.
